 Most of the existing ground floor building dates back to 1779. The upper storey was added in 1860 and since then the Inn has been extended progressively.The adjoining old farm buildings have been converted into wedding and conference venues retaining their original character and offering all the facilities required. Today, gracious old oaks, flanked by towering poplars and one of the largest blue gum trees in South Africa, spread their sheltering branches over the historic Inn. Our stay was very pleasant. People are helpful and polite, the entire facility has a delightful ambiance- most enjoyable. What an amazing place to visit. A hidden gem.
